"As we move into May our conversations will shift from seeds, plants, and things that grow, to things that go. Because something can go does it mean it can grow? A car can go... does it grow? Is it alive? What is "alive"? We will compare transportation items with plants and people, then, once we've agreed on why one group grows and the other does not, we will discuss what living things need in order to grow. In April, kids learned that plants need water, sun, and healthy soil. But what about people? And what other things grow? What other things are alive?"
